Dynamic thermal modelling is an important part of designing and delivering sustainable buildings . At Bullock Consulting we use IES Virtual Environment technology to perform our dynamic thermal modelling simulations.
Our engineers use designs and building specifications early in the design process to create a 3D model and run an annual simulation to provide detailed results. Analysis of these results enables designers to make fundamental decisions on improving building design with the potential for reducing both development and running cost.
Bullock Consulting have carried out dynamic thermal models for
various sized projects across Wales and the South west of England.
Our service includes; heat loss/gain calculations (CIBSE loads),
reports required to achieve BREEAM (HEA 10)
overheating risk analysis, daylight factor calculations and
compliance with Part L (SBEM).
